Student Textbook Returns

Main Building - Returns will take place beginning Monday, January 13th before school, during lunch or after school for individual student drop offs at the textbook room or in ISS.  (Books left unattended are the responsibility of the student and may be subject to lost/stolen fees.)  Additionally, teachers may opt to bring their whole class to the book room to return books by appointment.

R Wing - Returns will begin Tuesday, January 14th by appointment only.

 Please report to the Book Room at your designated time – classes will not be called from the office.


Miss FMHS Pageant is on Saturday, January 25th at 7 pm in the auditorium. Tickets are on sale now on the Go Fan app for $8. Tickets will NOT be sold at the door this year.   Tickets WILL NOT be sold at the door.


The Fort Mill High School Prom will be held Saturday, April 18th from 6:30 to 10:30 at the River Place, located in Regent Park.  Prom tickets will be available for sale in February ($30) and March ($40).  Outside guest forms are available in the front office or from Ms. Kinard (B-110). This year, tickets will be sold through the Go Fan app.  Please follow these instructions for purchase:

If you are a(n) …

•       Junior or Senior at FMHS: Use the GoFan App and the last six digits of your student number as your “Promo Code”. 

•       Freshman or Sophomore at FMHS, going as the guest of a Junior or Senior: You and the Junior/Senior you are attending with should see Ms. Kinard (B110) during FLEX in February or March to receive your unique “Promo Code” and purchase ticket on GoFan.

•       Outside Guest: The FMHS Junior or Senior should complete the Outside Guest Approval Form.  Once your guest is approved, you will receive a unique “Promo Code” and the ticket can be purchased on GoFan.

Tickets are non-transferable to other students.  If you have any questions, please see Ms. Kinard in B-110.


National Art Honor Society - Our next meeting will be on Monday, January 13th from 4-5:30. If you signed up to work on a mural, please plan on being at the meeting along with everyone else.


Yellow Jacket Book Club meets Monday, Jan 13 at 3:45 in the Main Library.  The theme will be reading out of your comfort zone.  The meeting will end promptly at 4:15.


Brenden Mahla will be holding auditions for a school-related short film on Tuesday, January 14th, from 3:50-4:30 in C109.


Fort Mill High School is excited to offer dual enrollment classes with York Technical College in the fall of 2020. The following courses will be offered at YTC: Welding, Automotive Technology, and Building Construction. To learn more about these programs and requirements please plan to attend an informational meeting January 23 at 6:00 pm located at the Fort Mill District Office.


For all student athletes, during FLEX on Tuesday Jan 14th, the nutritionist will be in the athletic training room for any nutrition questions.


The Speech and Debate Club meets Mondays at 3:45 in Mr. Reeves’ room C201.


The Campus Connect Club meets Wednesdays at 8 am in Mr. Reeves’ room C201.


IGP appointments are now open for Sophomore students. Please visit the Guidance website under Sophomore Information for more details and to schedule your appointment. IGP conferences happen only once a year, so you don’t want to miss this informative meeting! Any appointment not scheduled by a parent will be assigned a time by your counselor. We look forward to meeting with you and your student!


All interested Girls Soccer players should go to the athletic website varsity soccer webpage to complete the preseason 2020 interest survey and join the Remind 101. Begin completing the necessary paperwork that is due by the first day of tryouts, February 3rd.


Voluntary winter conditioning for men's soccer will be Tuesday and Thursday's. Players are to meeting at Bob Jones Stadium from 7 to 8:30 PM.  Players should bring running sneakers, cleats, water and should dress in layers.
