Culinary Arts Club meets Monday, November 18th in F 106 from 4 pm to 5 pm.


FCA features live music on Tuesday!  Join us in the auditorium at 8:00 on Tuesday for some donuts and great music!


Best Buddies will have a Thanksgiving craft celebration on Thursday, November 21st during Flex in the Learning Commons!


Come celebrate Native American Heritage Month in the Main Library.  Fiction and non-fiction selections by and about Native Americans are available.  Check them out!


Yellow Jacket Art Club meeting is Monday, November 18th from 3:45-5pm in Room E123  Activity: Artistic Hand Turkeys!!!!!!!


The Yellow Jacket Book Club is raising money for the classroom library of Mrs. Marr's 1st grade class at Sugar Creek Elementary School.  Sugar Creek is a Title I school and the extra books will help her class improve their reading skills.  Students can help by donating their change from their printing or additional change can be donated at the Learning Commons desk.  Please contact Ms. Bates if you have any questions.


AP Music Theory will resume meetings on December 3rd.  Email Ms. Hughes with any questions. 


The Speech and Debate Club meets Mondays at 3:45 in Mr. Reeves’ room C201.


The Campus Connect Club meets Wednesdays at 8 am in Mr. Reeves’ room C201.


Artists of Italy & France – JOIN US ON OUR TRIP!! Mrs. Lucarelli is taking a group of students to Rome, Florence, Pisa, and Paris during Spring Break 2020!! Interested in joining our exciting tour? Want to go on an ADVENTURE this summer?  Coach Ambrose and Ms. Kinard are traveling to Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia, and Bosnia and would love to have you come along for the ride!  If you are interested, and would like information, please email ambrosef@fortmillschools.org.


All interested Girls Soccer players should go to the athletic website varsity soccer webpage to complete the preseason 2020 interest survey and join the Remind 101. The first preseason workout will be on Thursday, November 21st starting at 4:10 @ the track. Begin completing the necessary paperwork that is due by the first day of tryouts, February 3rd.


BOYS LACROSSE has a mandatory parent meeting (at least one parent should attend) scheduled for Monday, November 18 at 7:30 pm, in the commons area (where students eat lunch).  The meeting is for all parents (grades 9 thru 12) who’s son is interested in and or planning to play lacrosse at Fort Mill High School in the spring - players DO NOT attend. I look forward to meeting everyone then, in the interim attached is the update spring practice and game schedule with times. Attention January 2020 Graduates:  If you wish to attend a 2 year school and have a 3.000 GPA or if you wish to attend a 4 year school and have a 3.000 and a 24 on the ACT or 1100 on the SAT, you will be eligible for the LIFE scholarship.  If you are a LIFE scholarship candidate, please contact the Commission on Higher Education to make sure that you understand recent changes to maintain your scholarship when you begin taking any college courses.  The phone number is 803-737-2260.


Fort Mill High School will be hosting an ACT Workshop for Juniors on November 13. Sign-ups are now open and will close on November 11. Space is limited to 100 Junior students. The cost is $40 and includes an ACT study booklet. Please follow the link below to register and pay. This will be an excused absence from class, but students are still responsible for any missed work.



For students graduating in December, York Tech will come on Friday, November 15th during A & B Lunch to help students enroll for the Spring.


Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated Omega Tau Omega Chapter is a local chapter based in Fort Mill. They have created a signature program called #CAP, which stands for College Admissions Process. The program is designed to help students in grades 11 and 12 with the college admissions process as well as prepare them for the SAT/ACT, college applications, and much more. The program has a specific goal of increasing interest in Historically Black Colleges and Universities and helping students to apply for and gain acceptance to one of these institutions. Please stop by the Main Guidance office to pick up a flyer with more information if interested.

Our Fort Mill High School Interact Club is working with our local Fort Mill Rotary Club and United Way to donate toys to children in need. Toys for Happiness delivers toys should be for children of any age. They typically need more donations for children ages 10-13 years of age. Toys should be new and unwrapped when delivered. Donations should be dropped off to my classroom, R107 through December 10, 2019.  The toys will be delivered to the Fort Mill Rotary Club on December 11 by our Fort Mill High School Interact Club members.
